JCR-VIS suspends Insurer Financial Strength Rating of The Pakistan General Insurance Company Limited

Karachi, January 10, 2018: JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company Limited (JCR-VIS) has suspended the Insurer Financial Strength rating of 'A-' (Single A Minus) assigned to The Pakistan General Insurance Company Limited (PGI) with immediate effect. Despite repeated requests, PGI has not provided information required to complete the rating process. The rating will be updated upon receiving of the said information. Previous rating action was announced on December 30, 2016.
