JCR-VIS Suspends Rating of Pak-Kuwait Takaful Company Limited

Karachi, January 20, 2017: JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company Limited (JCR-VIS) has suspended the Insurer Financial Stability (IFS) rating of Pak-Kuwait Takaful Company Limited (PKTCL) with immediate effect. PKTCL was assigned IFS rating of ‘BBB’ placed under ‘Rating Watch Developing’ status announced on January 7th, 2016.

The suspension of rating is on account of non-availability of current information for rating analysis and risk evaluation. Ratings will be re-assessed as and when the issue is resolved.
