JCR-VIS assigns final rating of A(SO) to the TFCs issues of Tameer Micro Finance Bank Limited

Karachi, December 26, 2012: Having reviewed the legal documents, JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company Limited has finalized the rating of TFC issues (TFC-1 & TFC-2) of Tameer Micro Finance Bank Limited (Tameer) at ‘A(SO)’ (Single A (Structured Obligation)). The entity rating of Tameer is ‘A/A-1’ (Single A/A-One). Outlook on the assigned ratings is ‘Stable’.

The assigned ratings of the TFC issues derive support from the partial guarantee to the extent of 40% of the outstanding principal from State Bank of Pakistan under the Microfinance Credit Guarantee Facility (MCGF).
