JCR-VIS reaffirms the IFS rating of ACE Insurance Limited at A+

Karachi, August 25, 2008: JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company Limited has reaffirmed the Insurer Financial Strength rating of ACE Insurance Limited, Pakistan (ACE-Pakistan) at ‘A+’ (Single A Plus). Outlook on the rating is ‘Stable’.

ACE-Pakistan is a wholly owned subsidiary of ACE INA International Holdings Ltd (USA) and is part of the ACE European Group (AEG). AEG is a highly rated entity internationally with world-wide presence, providing both general and life insurance services. ACE-Pakistan benefits from strong group support in terms of risk management systems, technological resources and reinsurance. Growth in business volumes has been significant during 2007.
