JCR-VIS Assigns Broker Management Rating to BIPL Securities Limited

Karachi, October 17, 2017: JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company Ltd. (JCR-VIS) has assigned initial Broker Management Rating of ‘BMR2+’ to BIPL Securities Limited (BIPLSEC). Outlook on the assigned rating is ‘Stable’.

The rating signifies strong external controls; sound regulatory compliance levels, HR & IT services, client relationship and risk management along with the adequate internal control framework and financial management.

Assigned rating reflects strong governance and adequate control environment substantiated by defined policy framework. Although internal control environment is also considered effective, there remains room for improvement regarding internal policy and dissemination of the same. Furthermore, provided that fresh inductions in key positions have taken place, performance of the same will be observed over time.
